you know that your living situation has changed when you don’t want to sleep anymore

i opted to get up during my first alarm instead of my second. 8 am instead of 9 am. the phone was on vibrate, not ringtone, buried inside my bag. and i still woke up. after five hours of sleep.

i think it was mostly because i wanted to get out of the uncomfortable heat of the sofa.

i find that i spent as little time there as possible. then it’s quite tolerable.
