jumping the turnstile

i had gotten a $25 value for $10 at you-know-where for you-know-whats. i guess the reprimand for jumping a broken turnstile — where i otherwise would’ve had to go around to use the wheelchair access — was like kharmic payback. i later felt bad for not throwing a “sorry” in there, but i don’t think they were in the mood to appreciate an apology — not that i’m ever going to run into them again so that they can yell at me some more. seriously. jumping a functioning turnstile is dumb. jumping a broken one that doesn’t collect money is … sensible.
