imaginary “if i were witty and bold”, this is what my reaction should have been
July 9, 2009i put the car into park and step out of the car.
“sir!”
hopefully, he realizes that i’m talking to him.
“i’m sorry. it seems that i didn’t see you. and for that, i apologize.”
hopefully, he accepts my apology with a nod or something.
“however, i don’t appreciate you knocking on the back of my car in retaliation, because it scared the shit out of me. so, i’m going to go home and cry now.”
which is kind of what happened.
“unless you would like to acknowledge or apologize or some-other-word-that-starts-with-an-A for making me really uncomfortable…”
